This course is led by Jon Mortimer, a practiced Interior Designer and educator with over twenty years of experience. His varied areas of expertise include the design of hotels, spas, restaurants, residential properties, and retail spaces.

He even contributed to the design of a private island in the Caribbean. Interior architecture besides the three-year course, you may opt for the four-year variant that includes a one-year placement. You will get some practice, which brings you beneficial experience in general and will enhance your career prospects. You will also be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice: Interior Design, increasing the value of your qualification.

The BA Interior Design is a course that gives students a creative career in contemporary design. Students develop live commercial projects with clients across retail, hospitality, leisure, and beyond. Students can express an interest in exploring how interior design can influence brands and communities as well as ways through which designs may evolve to suit future demands. Other significant elements of this course include sustainability, financial viability, and the responsibility of designers toward future generations.

Small bedroom decorating is always tricky; with some right tips and tricks, you could get a good, cozy, functional space out of this. I have lived in several homes where the bedrooms were smaller, and I have developed a few go-to strategies to make the best use of these compact areas.

So in this section, I am going to share some easy small bedroom decor ideas that can be applied in your home.  Bedroom interior design great way to put some kind of interest into a small bedroom will be to create just one focal point. It could be in the form of a bold headboard, some sort of eye-catching art, or any other design element that shifts attention toward it and gives more character to the room.

In my case, for example, I’ve used two different methods in my bedrooms: one by using a wooden slab attached to the wall as a simple headboard, and another where I paint half the wall to bring about contrast and depth.

Because a small bedroom is, well, small, when choosing furniture, consider multifunctionality. Decorating ideas   items that do more than one thing help keep the room clear but are still efficient. Never be afraid to get rid of some furniture that doesn’t suit your space. You can transfer them to other rooms or just find other ways of creativity in using them. When in small or awkward spaces, it is essential that one chooses furniture that suits the size and proportions of the space. Large sets of furniture overwhelm a small bedroom; thus, only use those with fitting proportion potential and serving useful functions.

Choose an open office layout or a mix of open and private spaces. Open designs offer room for collaboration; the latter will foster focus. Make office interior easy transitions between the different areas: desks, meeting rooms, common areas. There should be ease of movement around the office, with no crowding or bottlenecks. Section an office into different areas for workstations, collaborative zones, break areas, and quiet spaces for focus work or calls. Choose ergonomic furniture—chairs and desks—that will provide good posture and comfort while working for long hours at a time. In addition, consider height-adjustable desks to be placed in workplaces for more flexibility.

Allow staff to switch positions between sitting and standing. Add comfortable seating in meeting rooms and break-out areas to facilitate brainstorming and teamwork. Use task lighting for individual workstations and ambient lighting for overall space. Avoid bad fluorescent lighting and go for LED with adjustable brightness and warmth instead.
